The Janela Livraria (bookstore) enhances the visitor experience by transforming the museum into a space dedicated to reading and socializing. Located in the atrium, the space combines a bookstore and a café in an environment conceived as a meeting point for ideas, people, and different fields of knowledge
The venue also features the "Little Window," an area dedicated to children, with books focused on imagination and discovery, as well as playful elements such as a climbing structure and bleachers that encourage collective reading
Janela Livraria was founded in 2020 in Jardim Botânico by Leticia Bosisio and Martha Ribas with the purpose of bringing people together through literature and integrating books into city life. More than just a place to buy books, Janela promotes meetings, reading clubs, and an ongoing program that connects authors, readers, and urban life. Janela affirms the bookstore as a space for coexistence, diversity, and collective construction, where reading becomes a living and shared practice
