As criações de Fernando França chegaram ao Museu do Amanhã provocadas pelo encontro do G20, que aconteceu neste espaço durante a primeira semana de outubro. Alinhada ao eixo temático “A vida é inteligente”, a exposição no Museu do Amanhã foi estendida até o dia 3 de novembro, abrindo-se para o público visitante.

Fernando França's creations arrived at the Museu do Amanhã as a result of the G20 meeting, which took place there during the first week of October. Aligned with the thematic axis "Life is intelligent," the exhibition at the Museum of Tomorrow has been extended until November 3rd, opening to the public.

Em 2024 e 2025, o Museu do Amanhã celebra todas as inteligências — humanas, não humanas e mais que humanas — para discutir como, em colaboração e sinergia,  elas poderão conduzir tudo o que vive neste planeta a um estado coletivo de bem-estar. As criações de Fernando França dialogam com mitos e sonhos de sua terra natal, Rio Branco, Acre, e convidam o visitante a refletir sobre as complexas relações entre cultura, meio ambiente e identidade. Suas obras, que transitam entre o desenho e a pintura, emergem da sensibilidade às narrativas locais e globais, tecendo um diálogo entre o imaginário amazônico e as questões contemporâneas de sustentabilidade. Fernando França é desenhista, pintor e mestre em Literatura Brasileira pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC). Já participou de várias exposições e mostras coletivas no Brasil e no exterior, incluindo França e Portugal. Poucos são os artistas que podem afirmar dar vida aos encantados, seres esses que recebem a graça de existir através do mistério do invisível. Fernando França se destaca ao criar, em suas obras, as riquezas das cosmovisões amazônicas, apresentando criaturas que não habitam em nenhuma margem do rio, mas fluem numa “terceira margem”, simbolizando a fluidez entre o humano e o místico. Sua arte transcende a representação, mergulha num diálogo entre sonho e realidade. A pintura de Fernando, construída com o aval do fantástico, desconstrói essa realidade e desvenda a mentira que é, em nome da civilidade, formatar identidades sem direito ao sonho. Dona Zenaide, uma pajé paraense, convive desde criança com os Karunas na Ilha do Marajó e recebe deles as canções que utiliza para instaurar o poder de cura. Essas mesmas canções revelam o recado mágico e curativo dos seres das águas, nos dizendo que somos água dentro e fora dos rios que fluem internamente em nós. Além de uma expressão estética, a arte de Fernando é uma experiência sensorial e poética. Ao se conectar com a floresta Amazônica, ele compartilha saberes que iluminam e renovam nossa compreensão de mundo. Sua visão artística nos oferece uma nova forma de ver, permitindo o dom de sonhar através de uma poética milenar que nos renova e dá direito a uma arte e alma luminosas.

In 2024 and 2025, the Museu do Amanhã celebrates all intelligences—human, non-human, and more than human—to discuss how, through collaboration and synergy, they can lead all living things on this planet to a collective state of well-being. Fernando França's creations engage with myths and dreams of his homeland, Rio Branco, Acre, and invite visitors to reflect on the complex relationships between culture, environment, and identity. His works, which move between drawing and painting, emerge from a sensitivity to local and global narratives, weaving a dialogue between the Amazonian imaginary and contemporary issues of sustainability. Fernando França is a draftsman, painter, and holds a master's degree in Brazilian Literature from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC). He has participated in numerous exhibitions and group shows in Brazil and abroad, including France and Portugal. Few artists can claim to give life to the enchanted beings, creatures granted the grace of existence through the mystery of the invisible. Fernando França stands out by creating, in his works, the richness of Amazonian worldviews, presenting creatures that do not inhabit either bank of the river, but flow on a "third bank," symbolizing the fluidity between the human and the mystical. His art transcends representation, immersing itself in a dialogue between dream and reality. Fernando's painting, constructed with the endorsement of the fantastic, deconstructs this reality and unveils the lie that, in the name of civility, is the shaping of identities without the right to dream. Dona Zenaide, a shaman from Pará, has lived with the Karuna people on Marajó Island since childhood and receives from them the songs she uses to establish healing power. These same songs reveal the magical and healing message of the beings of the waters, telling us that we are water inside and outside the rivers that flow internally within us. Beyond aesthetic expression, Fernando's art is a sensory and poetic experience. By connecting with the Amazon rainforest, he shares knowledge that illuminates and renews our understanding of the world. His artistic vision offers us a new way of seeing, allowing the gift of dreaming through an ancient poetics that renews us and grants us a luminous art and soul.
