A exposição temporária “Experiência do Amanhã - A evolução da Televisão no Brasil” é fruto de uma parceria entre o Museu do Amanhã e a Globo, e conta a história da TV, sua origem, evolução e o que vem por aí. Em totens e imagens de acervo, a viagem começará pelos anos 50 e 60. O visitante poderá ver – ou rever - imagens da chegada do homem à lua e de um amistoso entre Brasil e URSS no Maracanã, com a presença do então futuro presidente Kennedy O segundo set da exposição (anos 70) mostra a primeira evolução dos aparelhos, quando as imagens passaram a chegar coloridas e os televisores ganharam botões de brilho e contraste. Trechos curiosos, como a primeira novela a cores no Brasil – ‘O Bem Amado -, imagens da Copa do México e das Olimpíadas de Munique e Montreal fazem parte da coleção Nos anos 80 e 90, a expansão do sinal analógico terrestre, o controle remoto e o áudio estéreo começaram a revolucionar a forma de se assistir TV. Ao mesmo tempo, a qualidade das produções brasileiras começou a ser reconhecida internacionalmente. O público relembrará desta época através de imagens de produções como ‘Terra Nostra’, ‘Vinicius para Crianças’, além de takes históricos dos Jogos de Moscou, Los Angeles, Seul, Barcelona e Atlanta Chegando aos anos 2000, a exposição retrata a evolução para TVs de LCD, a imagem em alta definição captada em 5 canais de áudio, a tecnologia 4K e a expansão do conteúdo para múltiplas telas. Por fim, o público chega à experiência do futuro, com transmissões em 8K - ultra-alta definição - no auditório do museu.
