The Museum of Tomorrow and the Ling Institute have just launched the free training project "Art of Tomorrow," focusing on art and technology. The project is being run by the Laboratory of Tomorrow's Activities (LAA), which is sponsored by Santander.

The learning cycle will consist of an online and an in-person phase. The first, which has just opened registration, consists of a Cycle of Investigative Meetings, which will feature six thematic modules, bringing together 20 leading creative professionals from different areas of the arts scene, from April 10th to May 18th. The opening session will be led by the project's curator, visual artist Batman Zavareze, on April 5th. The program will cover topics such as Music and Sound Narratives, Performing Arts, Audiovisual Arts, Visual Arts, Design, and New Media.

The aim is to foster organic exchanges between the participating audience and the artists, who will act as true provocateurs. At the end of the online phase, participants who have completed at least two modules of the Investigative Encounters Cycle will be able to apply for the in-person residency selection process, which will be held at the Tomorrow's Activities Laboratory in Rio de Janeiro, from July 17th to 30th. The residency's goal is to provide hands-on creative experience at the intersection of art and technology, as well as provide additional tools and encouragement for the production of an experience, activity, or prototype that implements the insights gained during the training. The Tomorrow's Activities Laboratory and the Ling Institute will form a committee that will select four projects to participate in the residency.
