Welcome
Visitation Policy
The Museum of Tomorrow is a place for social interaction, a place for dialogue, exchange of knowledge, learning, reflection, and understanding. To ensure everyone feels comfortable visiting the Museum, we suggest carefully reading the following guidelines:
Clothes
There is no inappropriate clothing for visiting the Museum, but barefoot or shirtless are not permitted. Due to the low temperature inside, we recommend bringing a light jacket.
Bicycles
The Museum of Tomorrow encourages the use of alternative and non-polluting transportation, and provides bicycle racks with 120 spaces throughout the outdoor gardens.
THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE MUSEUM
LOST OBJECTS
We ask that you be careful with your personal belongings during your visit. If you lose anything, please go to the ticket office to check if it has been found. If you find any object left behind in the museum, please return it to the ticket office so it can be returned to its owner.
LOST AND FOUND
For security reasons, we do not inform you via email or phone about items in our Lost and Found care. To check if an item has been found, please visit the Museum of Tomorrow on Thursday or Friday, between 10 am and 4 pm, and inform the queue that you intend to check the Lost and Found.
It is very important to present documentation or evidence proving ownership of the item. The Museum of Tomorrow keeps found objects for a maximum period of 90 days.
FOOD
The gardens surrounding the Museum of Tomorrow are a great spot for a snack or picnic. Inside, there's a café that operates during the museum's opening hours. Food and beverages are not permitted in the exhibition spaces and auditorium.
THE CHILDREN
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We ask that everyone be mindful of children's movements, especially in outdoor areas near water features and gardens.
THE ANIMALS
The outdoor gardens are open to all animals. Only guide dogs and emotional support animals are allowed in the Museum's indoor spaces when accompanied by their owners.
WI-FI
We offer free internet access to all visitors. Simply register on the "Museu do Amanhã" network.
PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
With the exception of the Cosmos (the first area of the Main Exhibition), you can take pictures of anything you want at the Museum of Tomorrow. Flashes and selfie sticks are inconvenient for other visitors, so they are not permitted.
When posting on social media, tag your images with #museudoamanha and show us.
If you intend to take photographs or film for journalistic purposes, please contact the Communications department at imprensa@museudoamanha.org.br.
For commercial or artistic purposes, write to comercial.eventos@museudoamanha.org.br
CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES
With the exception of the Cosmos (the first area of the Main Exhibition), the use of cell phones and two-way radios is permitted throughout the Museum. Out of respect for other visitors, we recommend avoiding phone calls in the exhibition spaces and auditorium, and keeping your device on silent.
ACCESS TO THE MUSEUM
The Museum of Tomorrow reserves the right to prevent access to its facilities to individuals whose behavior jeopardizes the well-being of its visitors, its exhibitions, and the safety and conservation of the building.
NO SMOKING HERE
As determined by Law No. 9,294, of July 15, 1996, the restriction on smoking applies to fully or partially enclosed areas and to places where visitors and employees circulate or remain.
