Dialogue-Course

30/11/2025
The Dialogue Course was created as an offshoot of the Entre Museus project, in its accessible aspect (Entre Museus Acessíveis) and aims to promote the training of interested individuals, especially people with disabilities, in Museum Education practices. In this third edition, completely free, online, and asynchronous, participants will encounter, in seven weekly classes, topics related to different ways of practicing accessibility in museums

In this video, the Museum of Tomorrow presents its Museum Education Program and Dialogue Course, featuring institutional remarks by Cristiano Vasconcelos, Museum Director; Camila Oliveira, General Content Manager; and Stephanie Santana, Education Coordinator. The conversation outlines the museum's commitment to accessible education and the development of more inclusive and transformative educational practices

Throughout the video, representatives of the institution reflect on the museum's social role as an educational agent. The Dialogue Course is presented as an initiative born from a genuine desire to expand access to professional training in the museum field, especially among people historically excluded from cultural spaces

The project's trajectory demonstrates that accessibility is not an afterthought, but a structuring principle guiding the Museum of Tomorrow's entire pedagogical approach. The testimonies reinforce that democratizing access to culture also involves proposing physical, symbolic, and institutional shifts that allow more people to see themselves, feel a sense of belonging, and engage in museums as active subjects of memory and collective creation
