Rio Ocean Week

22/10/2025
From October 22 to 26, 2025, the Museum of Tomorrow will host the first edition of Rio Ocean Week, the largest sustainability and ocean culture movement in Latin America. Known as "sea week," Ocean Week is a Brazilian initiative conceived by MídiaMar Comunicação, in partnership with the UNESCO Chair for Ocean Sustainability, linked to the University of São Paulo (USP), and Espaço e Vida, and unites science, art, culture, education, and social mobilization in favor of marine sustainability.

For five days, the public will have free access to more than 30 panels and activities, featuring 60 national and international speakers and the participation of more than 30 marine conservation institutions and research institutes

The program is open to all audiences—researchers, students, public officials, companies, entrepreneurs, families, and marine enthusiasts—and includes panels, workshops, interactive experiences, cinema, musical performances, exhibitions, book launches, and visits to oceanographic vessels
