SUBSCRIBEAudience Profile Survey
So much has happened over these 10 years! With that in mind, we prepared a special survey for you: a resident of the Port Zone (considering the neighborhoods of Gamboa, Santo Cristo, and Saúde). After all, we want to get to know you better and especially understand your impressions of these 10 years of being neighbors! IMPORTANT: both those who are already registered in our Neighbors Program and those who are not yet part of it can participate in the survey!
And of course, your participation is very important to us and helps us further improve our work.

Special Opening Hours
12/16 – 4 PM to 6 PM
In celebration of the Museum of Tomorrow’s 10th anniversary, on Tuesday (December 16), the Neighbors Program has prepared a great exclusive opportunity for you, our neighbor: to be the first to see our new original temporary exhibition, OCEAN – the world is an archipelago.
The exhibition seeks to reconnect visitors with the ocean, to remind us that we come from it, are made of it, and depend on it to create new futures. It is organized into three axes: memory, attention, and anticipation, showing how these aspects of our intelligence relate to the intelligence of the ocean itself.
These processes are not presented linearly, but fluidly, bringing together modern science, ancestral narratives, art, and technology. More than informing, the exhibition aims to make visitors feel intimacy, respect, and familiarity with the ocean. The ocean is time.
Imagined Territories – Shared Territories
Launch on 12/17
During the months of September and October 2025, we brought together 100 people — including students, teachers, IDG staff members, and participants from projects within the Communities and Territories area — to take part in tile-making workshops in celebration of the Museum of Tomorrow’s 10th anniversary. In total, five practical workshops were held, where participants were invited to reflect on a few central themes: territory, the museum and its exhibitions, time, and memory.
The workshops followed a collaborative co-creation methodology, reaffirming the active participation and expanded knowledge of those involved. They are a fundamental part of the creative process. The sessions began with presentations on art and tile-making, introducing materials and their possibilities, and encouraging discussion of the themes to be explored.
After the workshops, the partner team fired the pieces in the ceramic kiln at the Azulejaria studio, where all the works were gathered and selected, then organized to form an artistic piece of urban furniture in the museum’s outdoor area, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of its inauguration. In addition to showcasing the participants' wishes and testimonies, this piece functions as a way of marking the space.
Thus, the project included participants from Vicente Licínio Cardoso Municipal School, Padre Francisco da Motta School, the Darcy Vargas Foundation, and the projects Uma Só Voz and Transportar para o Amanhã (which work with people in situations of social vulnerability and/or homelessness).
