The "10-Year-Old Girls" program focuses on the power of encounters between girls and women to break down stereotypes, fostering values such as collectivity, empathy, identification, and confidence. Through a series of meetings with girls from different territories and socio-economic realities in the city of Rio de Janeiro, the project unfolds to discuss issues concerning the place of women in our society, as well as their representation in science, and in the dialogue on urgent issues of climate, culture, the environment, and sustainability.
For its ninth edition, to be held in 2026, the Museum of Tomorrow aims to empower girls today, promoting gender equality in science, as well as their fundamental role in developing effective environmental actions for the coming decades, in dialogue with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
