The Arraiá is a June festival celebrating Brazilian popular traditions, integrating culture, history, and community. We are in Little Africa, a territory full of cultural heritage and also strongly marked by the presence of Northeasterners who migrated and settled here in search of new tomorrows, bringing with them their customs, traditions, and passions!
In 2026, the Museu do Amanhã will hold the third edition of the Arraiá dos Vizinhos with Prata Preta. Renewing its partnership with Prata Preta - an important carnival group that has been holding one of the most traditional Arraiás in the region for decades.
The Arraiá is a June festival celebrating Brazilian popular traditions, integrating culture, history, and community, connecting the legacy of Prata Preta with the mission of the Museuo do Amanhã to promote an inclusive and sustainable future.
