The Museum of Tomorrow's Activities Laboratory (LAA), in partnership with the Instituto da Hora (IDH), is now accepting applications for the artistic residency, Affective Technology, part of Arte do Amanhã 2024.
A program that encourages and trains creative practices that work in a multidisciplinary manner, Arte do Amanhã focuses on new techniques and technologies, both modern and ancestral, for a creative endeavor that envisions the future. The "Tecnologia Afetiva" artistic residency will be a space for artists, using an affective lens, to use art and technology to propose a path of love, acceptance, and healing for Black and Indigenous communities in Brazil, based on the books by writer and activist bell hooks: "All About Love" and "Teaching to Transgress."
