What happens when we mix fashion and technology? Find out in the Museum of Tomorrow's new temporary exhibition, "Interface/Interlace," which will be on display at the Tomorrow's Activities Laboratory (LAA) from July 14th to November 15th.
For five months, fashion designers and stylists joined forces with new technology experts on a journey of experimentation to prototype more responsive, inclusive, sustainable and responsible fashion in the Residency Program. “Technology in Fashion”. The project is a co-production of LAA with the multicultural platform The Cluster and the environmental biotechnology start-up, Biotecam.
Now it's time for the program participants to present the pieces they created using new tools, techniques, and processes—such as electronics, sensors, 3D printing, laser cutting, and biofabrics—to explore a new way of making fashion. The results of the experiments conducted during the program generated our new temporary exhibition, "Interface/Interlace."
