Tomorrow, 10 years

Exhibition that celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Museu do Amanhã

In 2025, the Museum of Tomorrow will celebrate a decade of existence, consolidating itself as a space for science, sustainability, art, and innovation on the shores of Guanabara Bay. Since its inauguration in December 2015, the Museum – an initiative of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, managed by the Institute for Development and Management (IDG) – has transformed the region, become one of the city's main landmarks, and inspired future-oriented institutions worldwide through the FORMS (Futures-Oriented Museum Synergies) initiative.

“Tomorrow 10 Years” offers a retrospective of the major milestones, numbers, and stories of this decade of existence. Videos, photos, and texts tell this story chronologically, from the construction of the Museum, its opening, the major events we hosted, the workshops, classes, and training programs we conducted, the challenges we faced, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, up to the present day, when the Museum of Tomorrow has established itself as the most visited in the country.

The exhibition features sign language interpretation for all videos and is completely free to access.
